This movie is filming where I work. They sent out a center-wide notice that certain parking lots will be closed (unless you have a vehicle that can pass for belonging in the 70s) and that travel access to some roads will be sporadic and available only between scenes. My co-worker Vinnie and I were joking that we might have to decide to conduct a surprise audit of a facility that just happens to be on one of those closed roads. Of course, when I told him that Diaz wasn't one of the cast members present, he lost interest. *laugh* Since Marsden's character is supposed to be an aerospace engineer (hence, filming at NASA's major aeronautics laboratory) he, of course, should be present!

Perhaps I should casually mention to the boss that someone from the office should stop by and make sure the film crew is compliant with our environmental regs. Not even Hollywood is exempt, ya know! *wink*

Fantasy aside? I'm just glad my parking lot is not one of those closed. Haha, I'm so lazy...

So, I haven't posted here in a while, but I read my flist almost daily. So many yummy fics to absorb! =) Glad to see you'uns still kicking!

In other news, my company Christmas party is tomorrow night. There will be booze and DDR. I shudder to think of the possibilities.

So, I was this close to participating in the Bring Back the Porn challenge -- but I didn't really finish in time. And...I chickened out.

However, I'm definitely looking forward to taking in all the yummy fic that is going to show up on bbtp_challenge!! I will be checking it often all day tomorrow!

I bought a new laptop two weeks ago (my first ever!) and I must say that I am certainly getting addicted to playing with it while comfortably ensconced in bed! Now I can be even more comfy while absorbing fanfic. I may never go to sleep again. ;)

I was told that my new toy needs a name. I was tempted to call it Severus or Snape because it is black. But...it is in no way greasy or temperamental! So I shall have to ponder on this some more. In the interim, it's time to put this baby back to work! *goes to hunt down some ficcage*
